My entry for :iconsilverflamewanderer: contest [link]
I decided that deity of summer could be a green horse. He is in forest, and he is crossing some stream. In origional drawing this horse is dark green not black, but this drawing was too big for my scanner, so I had to take a photo of it. And my camera made it black. Oh well at least his nails are green in this photo.
I drew horse in just a day, but background took me a week. I really hate backgrounds so much. Although I couldn`t draw every day because of my exams. Those stones were a nightmare. I was drawing them for so long (few evenings in a row). And I don`t like how those trees looks like, if those green stains actually looks like a forest.
Coloured pencils on A3 paper.

Nu jā, hobitu zirdziņš nav gluži tas, ko es vēlējos uzzīmēt. Ar zirgu kājām man vienmēr nav veicies labi. Man ļoti patīk šairas šķirnes zirgi, kuriem ir kāju skaras, tikai kad es to mēģinu uzzīmēt sanāk ne pārāk spoži.
Man laikam būtu jāzīmē arābu zirgus, ar tiem ir drusku vieglāk (tā man pagaidām liekas tikai tādēļ, ka tas vēl nav izmēģināts).

this is beautiful. I love the pose and the higlights on the horse. the only thing you could add would be a shadow, or just a bit of shading under the horse's feet.

other than that, excellent. I like how you chose summer, since not many people do that season. and it looks like you put a lot of though into it :D

Thanks! There are some problems in horse`s feet, and I will try to fix that in my next horse drawing.
Summer is my favorite season, so I chosed it. And another reason is that now is summer. Although I was thinking also about winter.
